Full course description
Overview of Training
Eating disorders are complex, biologically influenced mental health disorders that often go unnoticed, misdiagnosed, or minimized by healthcare professionals, despite being among the deadliest psychiatric conditions. As frontline providers, it’s vital we know how to recognize these illnesses early, understand their nuances, and intervene effectively.
This training is designed to equip professionals with a foundational understanding of eating disorder diagnoses, warning signs, and how to determine the appropriate level of care.
Whether you’re new to eating disorder treatment or looking to sharpen your diagnostic lens, this course provides evidence-based education, practical tools, and a compassionate lens to help you feel more confident in your clinical skills.
